Nothing like going to a Sin City wedding.
When I first received the "save the date" for Craig and Amy's wedding, I remember being extremly excited because . . . well the wedding was not going to be your traditional local type wedding . . . no, no . . . this
was going to be a fun-filled event in Vegas - OH YEAH BABY.
I've known Craig and Amy for nearly 9 years; yet, it seems like just yesterday that I met them both. In fact, it was 8 years ago that Craig and I were roommates inside Edgewood Dorm during our Sophomore year at FPC (although Craig basically lived at
Amy's and only visited once in a while). It seems as if Craig and I always found the fun things to do outside. It really started with both of us working on our jeeps together; although I must confess that Craig was really the one to lift his first.
Nevertheless, from skiing outside in shorts at Temple Mountain to four wheeling in the mud our sophomore year to renting jet ski's at the Cape during the summer to snowmobiling in the woods of northern New Hampshire
just this past winter we constantly thrive on having a good time outdoors . . . preferably with things that have engines.
I think Amy has grown to realize that when the two of us hang out there will probably something motorized close by (pay attention to the trip pics and you'll see what I mean).
The trip proved to be a truly wonderful and amazing chain of events which were very relaxing and enjoyable. I flew out to Vegas with my mom Wednesday evening. After checking into our hotel we perused the casino, had something to eat, and relaxed for a bit.
Mom hit the sack, but I waited up for Evan and Steph and we headed out to meet up with Craig for a late night snack and chat. The following day we relaxed a bit, met up with Craig and Nick, had lunch, visited hotels and casinos, hit the New York New York roller
coaster, and walked around. Thursday night was the bachelor party . . . which of course was not your typical bachelor party but ant ATV quad riding experience through the desert (photo gallery below). After the quad riding we went out on the town for Craig's last night
of being a single man! Friday was the day for the big event so after relaxing by the pool in the morning it was time to get ready for the wedding. Saturday was our last day but we made it all worthwhile by eating lunch at thetop of the Stratosphere, walking through MGM
Grande, perusing the strip, and relaxing a bit by the pool before having some final drinks and heading to the airport for the flight back to New York.
To Craig and Amy,
I wish you both only the happiest and healthiest of times in your lives together. May you both enjoy the fun and exciting times ahead of you. These pages are dedicated to the both of you and the love you share with each other. Thank you very much for inviting me to share your amazing wedding day in Vegas; I'll always remember the days of fun and excitement as well as your actual wedding day.
Love Always,
Adam
